FlyersTalk

FlyersTalk is officially open.

I know it seems like a bizarre time to start a Philadelphia Flyers-centric blog, but as the off-season progresses we’ll have more and more things to discuss as we near training camp and opening night.  The Flyers are building off an exciting, albeit somewhat overachieving, playoff run to the Eastern Conference Finals.  During the runup to the regular season, I’ll be discussing any moves made by the team as well as providing my own analysis of the current makeup and the chances for next year’s quest to eliminate Philadelphia’s huge Championship drought. 

I do have some exciting ideas in mind for the regular season.  I’m planning to do game-recaps and player discussions and depending on readership, live blogging of important rivalry games.  Also, expect to see in this space commentary on the state of the league and major news from around the NHL.

I hope that these posts can be a place for considerate discussions among readers through the comment feature.  So as you read, feel free to agree or disagree with me and provide your own input.
